BB Senshi #336 Nanpo Kibatai

A.k.a Green Military unit, I'm not familiar in which kingdom or troops does these green soldiers serves, but I remember in an early Brave Battle Warrior episode, there are green soldiers working for Ryo-Fu Tallgeese and Toutaku Zaku, the bad guys. While on the side box art, it shows Nanpo Kibatai as the army serving Asurao Mokaku Gundam and Syukuyu Gundam, riding the Kyoshin Elephant. Gotta watch the anime again. Anyway..

The first one I built from the November package I received from GreatToysOnline.com since it is one of the smaller Gunpla model from the box. Here's what inside..

The runners, 2 for the Ji or horse, and 1 for the soldiet, a brown wire for the horse what-you-call-it handle, the decals, the printed instruction manual where the flag cut out is also located, and a free coaster with the character print.

Now here's the built #336 Nanpo Kibatai, nice cloudy weather outside, so I went out for a little shoot..

The green army unit and his brown war horse, a shield, a battle spear, and a troop flag. Great points about this model are: the war horse, of course, and there are more detailed decals for the soldier, while the other 3-unit model kit only has for the eye part. A little less point is, I don't think there's another kit, where you will only get the soldier, or like another 3-unit kit of its kind, and if you want more units, you'll have to buy it with the horse, as part of the model kit. Not a bad idea though, could just repaint the horse for other characters, but that means work.

Really like this soldier and his horse companion, might get some more, even though Im not sure right now on which right troop should I have this one place. Sadly, according to GreatToysOnline, they wont be restocking this SD model, or any of the other SD models that I got from them.

Long Pause Unpaused + November 2016 Houl

2 years past, and within I kept on trying to find time to make an update in this blog. I just love it, I cant abandon it completely. Anyway, Im still figuring out how blogger works on iPad, and since I'm kind of busy because of my job, upcoming posts might not be coming sooner, but will definitely come.

So last week, I got these goods from a Toys R Us private sale, after my date from Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them premier, great movie, btw.

I got a MG Age-1 Titus, and a HG Justice Gundam. Also, since there was a Gundam event happening in T'r'U that time, I got 3 free Sangokuden Army Units from a raffle, for my BBW collection which I'm also trying to continue, and a Custom Weapon Campaign, for my HG Justice Gundam.

And since I cant find time to do a descent shoot for my new Titus and Justice, nor even apply the dry transfer decals; well, none of my other Gunplas due to my schedule in that matter, I just took some phone pics..

Justice Gundam is one of my faves, and the Titus is definitely my fave Age-1 mobile suite. The HG Justice Gundam is holding the free campaign weapon from the event. While MG Titus looks cooler with its SD version. Also took a photo of HG Justice with its SD, but I cant open the image.

Also, a few days back, I made a 7 SD purchase from GreatToysOnline.com, most of it are Sangokuden, and I received the package last night. If you are also in the Philippines, and would want to buy Gunplas at lower price, just visit their website, most of their products are on Christmas Sale, and they have some promotions going on as well!

So excited to start these babies. Been a while since I built a SD, and would love to have my Brave Battle Warriors collection continue to grow. 

BB#259 Strike Gundam: Striker Weapon System - Sword Strike Gundam

Probably my no.1 pick on fave mobile suit from the series. Didn't even plan to post a review about the trashy Striker Weapon System pack if it wasn't for this buddy.

It's just the coloration of the parts/pieces that matters, the sky blue is sooo dead. they should have included the transparent pink which is mostly used for sabers and accessories on other SDs, on the laser of the sword. to give it more appeal. but this is an old plastic model pack, which means it's supposed to be dull.

BB#259 Strike Gundam: Striker Weapon System - Aile Strike Gundam

My second fave Strike Gundam (next to Sword). E-X01. Though I think this SD would be better if Ban Dai included the Bazooka and Rocket Anchor from the manga.

HG Victory Gundam + HG Customize Campaign Item A

Normally, I'd buy a new SD for my semester end kickback, from my last week of the semester allowance. It's been my thing for 2 years now. but since the nearest local toy store and hobby store doesn't have the new SD I wanted, and some of those in stock are old, I decided to get an HG instead. and It comes with a Campaign Item. If there is a second thing I love collecting Gundam, it's freebies and campaign items!! Also, they gave me the second copy of GUNPLA Catalogue 2013.

Since I already have my cam ready by my side.. I also took a photo of Victory Gundam runners and manual. A photocopy of "How to build GUNPLA" page from 2013 GUNPLA Navigation Catalogue is also included in the box.

The HG Customize Campaign item, that was given to me for free after purchaising Victory Gundam, was also from 2013, but only available this month on my fave hobby store. I got "A" (there are six of them to collect). Included in the runner is a Cannon that can be used by almost every HG modelkit with gun-holding fist, and several pairs of connectors that can be used to morph 2 different model kits into 1.

hmm..might as well do a little photoshoot for Victory Gundam + campaign item and post it here.... later.
