Long Pause Unpaused + November 2016 Houl

2 years past, and within I kept on trying to find time to make an update in this blog. I just love it, I cant abandon it completely. Anyway, Im still figuring out how blogger works on iPad, and since I'm kind of busy because of my job, upcoming posts might not be coming sooner, but will definitely come.

So last week, I got these goods from a Toys R Us private sale, after my date from Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them premier, great movie, btw.

I got a MG Age-1 Titus, and a HG Justice Gundam. Also, since there was a Gundam event happening in T'r'U that time, I got 3 free Sangokuden Army Units from a raffle, for my BBW collection which I'm also trying to continue, and a Custom Weapon Campaign, for my HG Justice Gundam.

And since I cant find time to do a descent shoot for my new Titus and Justice, nor even apply the dry transfer decals; well, none of my other Gunplas due to my schedule in that matter, I just took some phone pics..

Justice Gundam is one of my faves, and the Titus is definitely my fave Age-1 mobile suite. The HG Justice Gundam is holding the free campaign weapon from the event. While MG Titus looks cooler with its SD version. Also took a photo of HG Justice with its SD, but I cant open the image.

Also, a few days back, I made a 7 SD purchase from GreatToysOnline.com, most of it are Sangokuden, and I received the package last night. If you are also in the Philippines, and would want to buy Gunplas at lower price, just visit their website, most of their products are on Christmas Sale, and they have some promotions going on as well!

So excited to start these babies. Been a while since I built a SD, and would love to have my Brave Battle Warriors collection continue to grow. 

BB#259 Strike Gundam: Striker Weapon System - Sword Strike Gundam

Probably my no.1 pick on fave mobile suit from the series. Didn't even plan to post a review about the trashy Striker Weapon System pack if it wasn't for this buddy.

It's just the coloration of the parts/pieces that matters, the sky blue is sooo dead. they should have included the transparent pink which is mostly used for sabers and accessories on other SDs, on the laser of the sword. to give it more appeal. but this is an old plastic model pack, which means it's supposed to be dull.

My second fave Strike Gundam (next to Sword). E-X01. Though I think this SD would be better if Ban Dai included the Bazooka and Rocket Anchor from the manga.

My favorite among the 3 normal Skygrasper of this kit, since it stands perfectly, and thus not need support like the other 2.

SWORD

Sword Strike is one of my personal faves, but definitely not the Skygrasper of SD. needs paint job to look decent.

LAUNCHER
If I would ad this Skygrasper in my collection display of Gundam alternate modes, aircrafts, plains, etc.. I'm gonna need a proper stand for it. because I have to do some camera tricks just to take decent photos of this shit.

#268 Justice Gundam

This fig was a gift from my father. lol. months ago, he got his then latest credit card while currently overseas, and wanted to try it right away, so he bought this mobile suit from Gundam Seed on ebay.. hahaha and few days later, I received it. This Gundam will always remind me that it is still possible for a father to buy his 20 something year old son toys just to make him happy.. or guinea pig.. either way. :)

So, this one's an oldie, a'right! still needed filing to make it clean, which obviously I didn't did. and the colors were also limited, that it actually needs paint job, which obviously I never do on SD. so pretty much looks dead and old. which reminds me just now, my very first 1/144 model kit, nay, my very first Gundam ever was also a Justice Gundam, which I owned years ago. I don't know where the hell it is now.

2004 model kit + dead color + dead camera lighting + no edits + daddy love = GOOD!!
